Francisco Tapia
Francisco was born and raised in Mexico. After completing high school, Francisco studied in a variety of places, such as, Chilapa, Gro., Xalapa, Ver., and Tlaxcala, as well as, Brussels, Belgium. He has a B.A. in Philosophy and a M.A. in Divinity. Francisco began his counseling career in the state of New Jersey. He worked as a direct-care counselor in an inpatient facility and later became the Assistant Director for an inpatient adolescent program. He obtained a Drug and Alcohol Certificate from the state of New Jersey; the International Certification as a Drug and Alcohol counselor and is now a Texas LCDC. He started working at DCCI in December 2007 and has worked primarily with the Spanish Speaking population in the Intensive Outpatient program.
